Description
I had stopped once I saw this tree and a bird sitting at the top. It was quite the distance away, but I knew I just had to try. I loved the way the clouds were starting to form, but the sun was shining in behind me. The more I looked at the tree, I saw not only one Northern Flicker, but two! One had decided to move trees, where another Flicker was sitting in. This has really been the year for Northern Flickers, they seem to be everywhere!
